Guatemala Adventures!

Guatemala Adventures are numerous. Adventure companies here offer excursions such as white water rafting, mountain biking, birdwatching, horseback riding, volcano climbing, caving, and customized packages to include any combination of these. This country has many tropical warm water rivers that perfect for white water rafting. In fact, in some rivers, you can do white water rafting year round. This is possible in areas located in the Peten in close proximity to the archeological sites of Tikal, Aguateca, and Ceibal. Some rivers are only good during the rainy season from July to September. One of the characteristics of this country that make it so attractive is the rain forest and other nature areas where on can enjoy beauty rarely touched by humans. One adventure here is the horseback riding tour through untouched areas of this country. Mountain biking is probably the most exciting tour here in the country. What better way to see everything by bike. You are going to go across all sorts of trails, pass through different forests, pass along Mayan Ruins, lakes, and villages. And the best thing about biking is you save your vacation dollar by not having to put gasoline in a car. This also helps to preserve the rain forest because there are no exhaust emissions. Mountain bikers here have even been known to take tours into Mexico from this country. This country is a gold mine of geologic activity and it is no surprise that there are adventures in Guatemala that allow you to learn about some of the Maya rituals and see how they lived in some of these hidden places. Cave adventures are done by canoe or on foot.

Adventure in El Salvador!

El Salvador Adventures provide you with thrill as well as the opportunity to take in the landscape and sights in this beautiful country. This country is small so you might even be able to take in many of the adventures as the travel time between points is not great. These adventures will usually be advertised with varying levels of difficulty because you might have to bike or hike throughout the adventure.El Salvador and Guatemala Loop: This is run by GAP Adventures and features a two week tour of El Salvador and Guatemala. Social Travelers!

Generally have a university education. Have a professional career or own a business. These people would sooner spend money on the experiences and adventures rather then accommodation. Now that does not mean that they are adverse to paying for good accommodation should they desire. They often will and do. They are socially aware. Respect their surroundings and those they come in contact with. They want to leave the world a better place before they exit. You could say that any backpacking is an adventure. But you won't know the meaning of the words until you backpack through Central America. Throw the essentials in a backpack. Board a plane. Prepare yourself for the journey of a lifetime! A backpack adventure is packed with thrills, spills, unique experiences that dazzle the senses... gives life a whole new meaning. Not only do you have the freedom to go wherever you want... whenever you want, but you can choose from some of the most exciting activities ever invented in every destination. Living out of your backpack gives you the freedom and independence to visit every country on the continent if you want to. The only problem is where to start! How you decide to choose your first venue doesn't matter; Just go where the wind takes you. Start living every day as if it were your last. Create history.

Backpacking Adventure!

Long haired, dirty, ripped clothes, runners hanging on the back pack, smelly, cheap, bum.... plus many other undesirable connotations of the late hippy era backpacker. There is a group of people out there that are becoming very independent thinkers. And at the same time these people are very social. Don't get me wrong they love their independence. Making their own decisions. Determining their destiny. But they still love the social aspect of the community as well. They love to sit down with friends to discuss the days adventures plus any new backpack adventure coming up. The challenges. The discoveries. The rediscoveries of what they thought they had lost but had along. The exchanges of tips, findings and the local cautions. They started to discover Living again. They have started to create their own history. They are Living History. Their history this time. They are the independent social travelers.
